In early summer 2020, the Academic Technology Integrator, Mr. Bernie Picklo, designed a toolkit to support student use of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and related instructional technologies. Students who navigated an initial review of the toolkit and completed a survey of its functionality were entered into a drawing for a Lenovo Chromebook awarded by the Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Emily Williams.
The two student awardees are:
- · Harmony C. Motter: Pitt-Titusville, first-year Nursing major
- · Emily A. Royea: Pitt-Bradford, junior Exercise Science major
All UPB and UPT Students can access the Canvas and Technology Toolkit for Students by logging into my.pitt.edu and going to the Canvas site. This toolkit is students’ year-long resource to refer to in their use of Canvas and other educational technology tools at UPB and UPT.
